PATIO HOMES AVAILABLE IN WILDE CREEK IN CREEKSIDE PARK

Highland Homes and Darling Homes are offering luxury patio homes, priced from the $420's - $600's in the neighborhood of Wilde Creek in the new Village of Creekside Park. Both homebuilders have recently opened models in Wilde Creek. Highland is offering seven plans with varied elevations including stone options. Sizes range from approximately 2,642-3,997 square feet with three-four bedrooms featured. Darling Homes offers 10 designs, each with three varied elevations. Sizes range from approximately 2,578-3,756 square feet in the one, one-and-a-half and two-story homes.
 
Darling Homes' Plan 6787 in Wilde Creek, featuring approximately 3,900 square feet. This luxury patio homes highlights a Mediterranean style with stucco and a tile roof. The 1 ½-story home includes three bedrooms, three full baths, two half baths, detached casita and three-car tandem garage. Upstairs includes a game room, media room, sitting area and half bath.

OFFICIAL DEDICATION CEREMONY HELD FOR THE WOODLANDS WATERWAY TROLLEYS

A special dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony was recently held in Town Green Park in The Woodlands to mark the official roll-out of The Woodlands Waterway Trolleys. The trolleys provide a new form of transportation throughout The Woodlands Town Center free of charge for residents, business professionals and travelers. Riders can catch a ride on the air-conditioned trolleys during the daily service hours of 11 am - 8 pm.

The route stops are at the Community Center/South Montgomery County Library, Town Green Park, Market Street’s Central Park, The Woodlands Mall south entrance, and Woodloch Forest Drive at the Mall Ring Road. The trolleys also operate along The Woodlands Waterway with stops at Landry’s Seafood House and Anadarko Petroleum as well as The Waterway bridge at Woodloch Forest Drive, Waterway Avenue, The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center’s south entrance along The Waterway, and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion’s south exit along The Waterway. Along with these dedicated stops, the trolleys also make stops for pedestrians along the route.

The Woodlands Creekside Park Village Opening Announced

The plans are underway for a gala celebration of the Grand Opening of the Village of Creekside Park in October. Plans include two Showcase of Homes events - one in the gated community of Carlton Woods Creekside and another in the neighborhood of Wilde Creek, located near the main entrance to the village off Gosling Road.

The Showcase of Homes in Carlton Woods Creekside is set for Saturday, October 13 through Sunday, October 28 from 10-6 pm daily. Six lavishly furnished and decorated homes, priced from $1.3 - $2.7 million, will be open for touring. Admission for adults is $5, and children 12 and under are admitted free. A portion of the proceeds will benefit New Danville and Interfaith of The Woodlands. Builders include Savoy Custom Homes, Termeer and Associates, Sterling Classic Homes and Ultra Classic Custom Homes. A luncheon real estate preview will be held on Thursday, October 11 from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm.

One of the main Grand Opening attractions will be a huge family-oriented festival on Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 10 am - 6 pm in the new Rob Fleming Park. Open free to the public, the event will highlight the many new outdoor amenities that will soon be available in Creekside Park. Tethered hot air balloon rides, rock climbing walls, kayaking and fishing lessons and a Mini-Sailboat Regatta on Fleming Pond will be featured. "Camp Creekside for Kids" will include children's crafts, a petting zoo, face painting, planting seeds in the Fleming Park "Bluebonnet Meadow" and other fun activities dedicated to nature and the great outdoors.
 
Rob Fleming Lodge will be the setting for a free outdoor concert called "Music from Kerrville - an Outdoor Family Experience" from 3-6 pm. The concert stars Michael Martin Murphey and the Heartland Cowboys, Floyd Domino and the Western Swing All-Stars with special guest mandolin virtuoso, Paul Glasse, and the Terri Hendrix Quartet. "Music from Kerrville-An Outdoor Family Experience" is being produced by Rod Kennedy, founder of the Kerrville Folk Festival.
 
Also on Saturday, October 20, the Showcase of Homes in Wilde Creek will begin and run through Sunday, October 28 from 10 am - 6 pm daily. Admission is free. Approximately 15 decorated model homes will be open for touring, priced from the $200's - $700's. Builders include Chesmar Homes, Darling Homes, Highland Homes, Plantation Homes, Village Builders, David Weekley Homes and Wilshire Homes. A real estate luncheon preview will be held on Thursday, October 18 from 11 am - 4 pm. Come see the wonderful new homes and enjoy great food and plenty of unique door prizes.
 
After the concert and family festival conclude at 6 pm on October 20, the First Annual Great Creekside Campout will begin with registration at 6:00 pm and the Campout starting at 6:30 pm. Tent and equipment packages and catered dinner and movie packages will be available for purchase to make camping easy, even for beginners. The camp-in movie, "The Great Outdoors" starring John Candy, will be shown on a giant screen in the park. S'mores making by the "campfire", star gazing, night games and a night hike through the George Mitchell Nature Preserve will be other highlights of this evening of reconnecting with nature.

Hubbell & Hudson and HMT Moving To 24 Waterway Avenue in The Woodlands Texas

Hubbell and Hudson, a new world-class specialty market, will open a 23,000-square-foot store at 24 Waterway Avenue.   Hubbell and Hudson Market will offer an upscale selection of locally grown premium produce, artisan bakery items, rustic pastries, boutique wines and cheeses and premium and dry aged meats. The store will also serve chef-prepared foods and feature an authentic European deli, best-in-class sommeliers, cheese mongers and chefs. Hubbell and Hudson Bistro will serve informal upscale dining throughout the day, and have a coffee bar and full service bar for patrons. The new store is expected to open in early 2008.

HMT, a provider of products and services for the maintenance and repair of aboveground storage tanks for the petroleum industry, has leased the entire fourth floor (18,585 square feet) at 24 Waterway Avenue. The company outgrew its facility in Tomball, TX and moved to temporary offices at 2002 Timberloch Place in The Woodlands last February. HMT plans to relocated approximately 40 employees to 24 Waterway Avenue in February of 2008. The move is a consolidation of departments within the company.
